ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

For many years the Indiana Historical Bureau (not the Historical
Society) in Indianapolis was running an outreach program called
REACH=Resources Educating in the Arts, Science and Culture. It
traveled throughout the state, and would stay for a week in a host
school. During that time, the outreach folks would hold a teacher
workshop, a community openhouse, and work with all the kids in the
school (or district, if it was very small, which it often was). The
materials covered ten subjects, including fossils, simple machines,
the glass industry, and the environment. There were also loan kits
and slide sets. The person to speak to is Ginny Terpening.
