I am developing a demonstration where we will extract DNA from (sheep, goat,
and/or cow) hide made into parchment. I am familiar with the technique
requiring liquid nitrogen to remove the DNA, but am open to anything better.
My primary need for information regards differentiation of the DNA. Does
anyone know which restriction enzyme or set of enzymes would be needed to
differentiate between cow, goat and sheep DNA?
