Back in 1979, I was surveying a small isolated 40 acre parcel for land
exchange on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests between Coeur d'Alene and
Sandpoint. I was walked off the parcell with a double barrel shotgun
tucked neatly under my right ear by an individual even more scruffy looking
than I was. I got back to the Supervior's Office and left a note for the
Law Enforcement folks. Needless to say, the next day I selected another
parcel to survey. When I got back to the office, I was told that they
believed a still had just been removed from the area.

The jerk could at least have given me a jar of moon!

:-)
