IF any of the Protonix showed up in mom's milk, it would be "virtually
unstable in an acid mileu and when presented in milk, it would br highly
unstable in the infant's stomach.  If any were present in milk, it would be
largely degraded prior to absorption."  Hale also says see: omeprazole as an
alternative.  Same old, same old, sacrifice BF on the altar of
pharmacological ignorance and greed (use the newest med available, per your
drug rep's advice :-(
