As some of you know, I write a monthly Q&A column for this high circulation
magazine. This month they published my response to an insensitive dentist's
implication that breastfeeding increases cavities. Find me another mainstream
magazine addressing that.

Yes, somehow a couple dumb paragraphs sneaked through in a personal story
about postpartum problems and sore nipples and their editors probably will never
let that slant predominate again.

I have thought long and hard about the advisability of appearing in a
magazine which accepts formula ads. (I have also thought about whether or not I
should appear on TV networks or radio networks which also carry these ads.) I
have decided that the opportunity to reach this readership is honorable and I
will keep trying to influence the powers that be to decrease or eliminate those
ads. (Not much chance in the near future . . .)

"Fit Pregnancy" provides more healthy BF and other information per issue than
ANY mainstream publication and almost as much great stuff as "Mothering" does
in some issues.
