Hi, Toby.
       Thanks for sending the second message, with more information.  You
said the mom is thinking of using these supplements to combat thrush.  Once I
knew that, I think the mom is actually wanting to use Stevia.  (I closed my eyes
and said stureja aloud, making the "j" sound like a "y", and then the word
sounds fairly close.)  Stevia is a non-sugar sweetener.  Since yeast thrives on
sugar, many people try stevia as a sweetener during thrush outbreaks (and even
as a preventative), so there is not so much sugar in the body for the yeast to
use as food.  It is considered to be safe for breastfeeding mothers, though I
would always add the usual caution that nothing on the planet is safe for
100% of the people and she should watch her baby for unusual reaction.
