Amazing wording, since the studies which these percentages come from ( most
likely the old Dunn study)  were not true breastfeeding studies -  the moms
were not exclusively breastfeeding and some weaned long, long before 6 months.
The use of the word "prolonged" is particularly odd. This data gets quoted over
and over again as valid, despite it not coming from actual breastfeeding
dyads. The other piece I note is that like most other articles on the subject the
focus is only on "tranmission" rather than actual health outcomes.
