With the NASA and European Space Agency Mars landings quickly approaching,
Mars exploration will again be in the spotlight. For anyone who may be
looking for Mars exhibits:
Chabot Space & Science Center commissioned an incredible centerpiece for its
successful Mars Encounter exhibit--a 4-foot diameter tactile globe of Mars
that glows with special effects lighting. It makes an eye-catching piece for
a lobby or exhibition, and provides a unique hands-on learning experience.
When visitors can feel how Mars is smooth on one side and rough on the
other, run their hands across the craters and volcanoes, and experience the
landscape through their fingers, then they are really starting to explore
the Red Planet.
For more information on acquiring a tactile Mars globe for your facility, or
other Mars exhibits available from Chabot, please visit
