Good morning all. I need some help in hopefully not reinventing the
wheel. I have seached the achives and have not found what I need. For the
second time in the past 3 months a nurse had injured her back helping a
mother breastfeed and is out of work. The manager for our unit has asked
to do an inservice on proper body mechanics for the staff when they are
working with moms. Has anyone already developed an outline which they
have used and are willing to share? I have contacted our PT department to
partner (really do it!) with me but I would like them to zero in on what we
do to help breastfeeding moms, not just general back care. Any takers?
You can contact me off list also. As always, thanks for your help!
