Dear All, Could I please ask if anyone heard the BBC Radio 3 Building A
Library on Prokofiev violin concerto no.2 on 1st March? I see the winner
was Hiefitz (RCA) with the Naxos as budget choice and Znaider as the
modern choice.

Could I please ask what the reviewer thought of the Lin or Shaham verisons.
I considered the Shaham but am concerned what the DG sonics may be like.
I notice that the Barber/Korngold Shaham DG which was also with Previn
and the LOS was obviously multi-miked but the soloist too far forward.

Many thanks,

David Harbin
