Congrats, Merrie! I personally would go for a Family Nurse Practitioner
first, because then you can work with both mom & baby. If you can't do that, then
Pediatric NP because you will see LOTS of babies.
My eldest will be finished with her FNP next May. I'm really excited because
she starts her second to last clinical today -- at the peds office where I am
the IBCLC. So she's going to have a sizeable chunk of pediatrics under her
belt....
