Even after my blooper e mail sent to the wrong place, I really would like to
hear from NICU LC's re your staffing, how you spend your day, how much one on
one consultation you do and how often you see each mother. I'm especially
interested in how you divide your time between helping mothers establish a milk
supply and assisting with breastfeeding. I work at a children's hospital with a
60 bed NICU service, a 6 bed special care nursery for R/O sepsis type babies
and a Cardiovascular ICU. We basically have one FTE covering this. I'm really
interested in hearing about the LC coverage in other NICU's around the country
and how you spend your time. Thanks so much.
