There is probably a number of things going on here as you and others have
said, but using the same breast for 2 feeds in a row may not be enough, if
oversupply is/was the problem. She may need to try using the same side for
up to 12 hours at a stretch, depending on the severity of the problem, as I
think someone pointed out recently.
(On a side note, two feeds in a row for me would have meant using the same
side for only one to two hours then switching -- my babies fed *very*
frequently. How often does this mom feed babe?)
