Kay Hoover and I have a number of photos of breast rashes in The
Breastfeeding Atlas.  One case was caused by an allergic reaction to
antifungal meds (nystatin, specifically).  There is a photo of poison ivy on
the breast.  Allergic reaction to lace on bra cup is another possibility.
I've seen two women have itchy rashes on isolated parts of their bodies
(generally on the limbs) from domperidone.  Many meds  will exert some
anti-inflammatory effects, so maybe the diflucan modulated the inflammatory
condition somewhat, but wasn't specific enough to the problem to erradicate
it.  The dermatologist may have a point for her to carefully investigate her
recent activities to try to see if she can identify the irritant.
Postpartum women have more sensitive skin, and often react more intensely to
contact irritants and develop dermatitis.  Ref:
