There is a disc on eBay that claims to have a live performance of Stokowski
and Van Cliburn in the Tchaikovsky PC.  This Aura disc is a replication
of a 1993 Ermitage release.  The disc also contains a 1968 performance
of the Romeo and Juliet.  The 1962 Van Cliburn performance is conducted
by Pietro Argento, not Stokowski.  Extensive research and econversations
with Ed Johnson have confirmed this error despite what Aura claims.  The
R&J is by Stokowski.
