Alternatively, you could hope you get a daugther in law who wishes to
breastfeed, but needs a little bit more help. It would have been so
easy for me (seriously inverted nipples, a 'tactful' nurse told me
"you have so badly inverted nipples, it's never going to work") if I
had had a mother in law with the knowledge...
