Slatkin's Mahler 2?

Can anyone comment on Slatkin's Mahler 2 for Teldec.  I imagine the sound
is impressive but I wonder how the recording stands up after all these
years?  Teldec seen to be reissuing many recordings at mid-price and my
bet is that this one will be in a future batch.
