First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Anita F. and I am a
nurse, IBCLC, mother to 5. I am an avid Lactnet reader and learner.
I am now needing some guidance.
I have been asked to lead a discussion on breastfeeding to a group of 15 -16
yr. old females in their Child Development class. I will have approx.
40min..
I thought I would open the discussion with asking the girls about their
perceptions of breastfeeding. Discuss some common myths related to
breastfeeding relative to their age group. Any ideas? How would any of you
steer this discussion?
I will be giving this lecture/ discussion on Thurs. April 3rd.
