Very short NO in my opinion! I have been using open mesh flours for more
than twenty years now, and I have the same troubles like every one else with
Varroa. Open mesh flours is in my opinion only for ventilation. Of course
other can look at if it can have other influence, but I doubt the influence
of Varroa is very much to investigate into.

Use it as ventilation, and do not relay of influence on the varroa.
