I've seen babies like this in my practice too.

Some questions: Is he 40 weeks gest or just a big 37 weeker?

When did he start pooping yellow?

Was labor induced?

Those are good choices. I'd suggest - a baby sling, help with the other kids
and [I forget who coined the phrase] "tincture of time".

With the slow, casual eaters I like to tell them that this baby isn't a
"fast-food McDonalds" kind of baby but an "elegant dining Accomac" [the name
of a very fancy expensive restaurant in our area] baby. That usually gets a
smile.

Truthfully, though, I've seen this situation improve when the baby gets back
over birth weight - it's probably just the improvement with time.
