Cabbage can cause gassiness due to the sulfer that comes free when it is
cooked too long (when it gets that typical smell). Cabbage that is eaten raw
or cooked "al dente" or stirrcooked is not causing gassiness and can be eaten
by bf moms without colick in the bf baby.
I doubt if this sulfer mechanism wil also work for fresh, uncooked cabbage
used topically.
