Yep, sure was, Kirsten. I remember my mother saying that she was told
to eat lots of unsalted peanuts when she was breastfeeding me (early
50s in Australia), to make 'lots of rich milk'. However, she said all
they did was make her fat!! Interestingly, she claimed she 'didn't
have a lot of milk' but that 'it must have been rich' as I thrived on
it. Also that I had a very strong suck - 'like a leech' from the
moment I was born!!
