Lead Seals

Has anyone found on 20th century archaeological sites small lead seals (ca.
15 mm wide & about 4.4 grams) that have on
both sides the words: KEYSTONE FOOD and the keystone symbol? Sometimes
there are fragments of (4 ?) iron wires going off
of the seal still in place.

I think they might be items you got at the store used by the butcher or
store keeper to tie up meat cuts in paper wrappings. However, this idea is
pure SPECULATION because Keystone Food, located in PA, made a lot of meat
grinders in the 20th century, including store and home varieties.

Have you found these items (especially in the Mid-Atlantic region) and does
anyone have any definite idea what they are??
