Hi all,

S.P. Austin asked} what if conventional wisdom states that, yes, this was some sort of engine
but it powered a craft that brought humans to the planet ..

jb} Anyone coming to that conclusion would be standing 15 hands high in proving that humanity
digressed exponentially from the Neanderthals. {BTW with a carb .. it was no way a pump}

The 1937 Ford V/8-60 was a cast iron engine of 60 HP, and red lined about 3000 RPM (+ / -) ..
hardly suitable for aircraft let alone a space craft.

However .. if the futuristic type finding this engine .. looked down the throat of the
carburetor, {which had Ford written all over it} they'd see a venturi. Venturi's are proof
positive that the 1937 culture understood air foil design, hence airplanes.

So they'd initiate an immediate dig looking for a Ford Tri-motor {aircraft}!
