Anyone intersted in Spanish Silver coins should definately check this book
out. I have just sent in a review on it to Southeastern Archaeology. If I
had not gotten it free for the doing the review, I would have happily paid
for it! It mostly covers "cobs" made in Peru, Bogata, and Mexico but does
have some information on the first nice milled edge rounds from Mexico. It
covers everything from mining, production, distribution, and the economy in
which the coins were used.

Spanish Silver Coins in the Florida Collection. ALAN K. CRAIG. University
Press of Florida, Gainesville, 2000. xxv + 217 pp., 70 figures, 28 tables,
3 appendices, notes & references. $49.95 (cloth). ISBN 0-8130-1748-3.
