I was e-mailing back and forth w/ a client of mine, was telling her about
boiling anything that came in contact w/ the baby's mouth (yeast).....also
was warning her to watch the boiling whatevers, as I had had some rather ugly
experiences with boiling nipple shields. This is what I recieved back from
her:
"We already did it once to a pacifier--the whole thing melted away while my
husband was mowing the lawn and had to call the fire department and borrow
every fan in the neighborhood to disperse the fumes!"
I just decided we all need a laugh to get us through the rest of the ugly
stuff we live with.
