Julie: Back in my "dig bum" days, I worked on a project for Oregon State
University. It was the Municipal Sanitation Expansion for Roseberg. It
was done during November-December of 1984. (I learned that one really
could excavate while dressed up as the "Gorton's of Glouster" fisherman.)
Alexi Simmons was the site supervisor. The site we were excavating was a
combination prehistoric and historic. If I remember correctly, the
historic component was supposed to be a schoolhouse. I don't know who did
the write up on it.

Smoke.
