Yes.  Debussy and Hokusais's "Sea" on the 20 French franc banknote.  But
it's now being replaced by a coin.  Already - about twenty years ago - the
Berlioz 10 franc note was replaced by a coin.  The most recent notes are
dedicated to Saint-Exupery (50 franc), Cezanne (100 franc), Eiffel (200
franc) and Curie (500 franc), i.e.  a writer, a painter, an engineer and
a scientist, but no more composer or musician.  And they'll all disappear
when the euro comes into force.
