You may already know about the work in Alexandria but they seem to always
have something going on. Alexandria is only a few minutes outside of DC.
Get in touch with the Museum of Archaeology in Alexandria at
http://seewashingtondc.net/alarc.htm I tried their direct access website
but it was not working properly. This address will at least give you their
phone number/mailing address.

Have fun,

Subject: Visiting the District

Histarch Community:

I'm planning a quick tourist visit to Washington DC this weekend, and
am wondering if anyone out there knows of any ongoing urban
archaeological projects in the District that would allow visitors.

I'll welcome your responses off-list.

Thanks,
Stacy Kozakavich
