Our Level 3 NICU used specimen cups for years for milk storage. The plastic
is not food grade, so I searched for another cost-effective method. I
settled on Medela 80 ml Collection Containers. We have developed a protocol
to sterilize and reissue them also. Although there is a learning curve
associated with this method, it works extremely efficiently when everyone
gets on board.

Anyone wanting details can mail me privately. I'll be happy to respond.

The cost did increase some.

Cate Edlebeck. RN, IBCLC
