A lock keeper's house was tested during an archaeological survey for the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The report citation is:

"Phase I/II Archaeological Survey, River Route S.R. 22/322, Dauphin County,
Pennsylvania," by Kenneth Basalik et al. Cultural Heritage Research
Services, Inc., North Wales, Pa.
