Re: the jaundiced baby and mother with low supply after a normal birth at
home - glad I prefaced my statement on the midwife's judgment with the
qualifier 'IF'.  Thanks for the clarification that you were relating her
remarks third-hand, Nancy.  Remember the party game 'gossip'?  Whispering a
message around a circle?
I would still strongly consider an ultrasound given the history of an
atypical placenta and unexpectedly scanty lochia.  Even if milk supply picks
up.
