Dear all, the following quote comes from Malcolm MacDonald's 'Brahms':

"The British writer Harold Truscott maintains that Volkmann's early
piano trios, especially that in B flat minor, op. 5, contributed to
the formation of Brahms's personal idiom."

Does anybody know a reference among Truscott's writings for this?

Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Daniel Christlein
