As usual, Steve Schwartz hits the nail on the proverbial head.  The music
is incredibly rich and evocative -- the Eclogue in particular demands to be
hummed on the way to work.  I like the Naxos recordings (no surprise there)
and this disc has prompted me to start searching for other Finzi music --
and concerts!  The Cheltenham Festival started here last weekend and there
is a concert towards the end that includes the UK premiere of Finzi's
Espressivo.  That's on the list -- but so many concerts, so little time
etc., etc.
