In the dark ages, we used them for electric breast pumps with conversions
that an engineer dad dreamed up. Maybe 25-30 years ago!  Rental pumps came
out and they were quickly gone.  Some medical equipment places still have
them to rent as breast pumps. :-(  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
