I imagine so, because it is also "malted", like Horlick's malted.
It was suggested to me, as a nursing mother, by a traditional East
Indian healer -- along with ayurvedic approaches. I remember thinking
that I wouldn't have considered it as an "alternative" or "traditional
healing" food...
