If nothing else has been established during this thread, I think we
have come to recognize that the absence of juicy facts would not prevent
movie moguls from inventing juicy myths if they thought it would fill the
theater.  But then, maybe those dour portraits of Bach would make it more
difficult for the audience to suspend disbelief when confronted with a
randy cinematic Bach overflowing with illicit desires and indulging in
questionable accounting practices.
