I'd like to invite listmembers to a new page at mp3.com:
http://mp3.com/chinesepiano
Pianist Eileen Huang is the director of the International Chamber Music
Course where I taught this summer in Positano, Italy. She is a graduate of
the Beijing Conservatory and has performed frequently in Europe and the Far
East.
She has recorded a number of CDs of music by Chinese composers, and one of
those can now be heard on her mp3.com website. It features a mixture of
arrangements of ancient folk melodies and new compositions by composers
such as Chian Chu-Sing and Wang Li-san.
As always, it's free to listen to all the music on the page; a small amount
is paid to the artist for each listen. Additionally, a CD of the page is
available for purchase.
Thank you,
Dave
