Well, finally we had our Johannes-Passion at the Teatro Colon last friday,
and it was great!. Fortunately everything was right, and the public
response was highly enthusiastic. The last choral was especially emotive
and we all were almost in tears when singing "Ich will dich preisen
ewiglich!".

Gerd Turk (evangelist) and Bernarda Fink (mezzo) were the heros of the
night. Turk sang (or better "acted") his role with a superb plasticity.
Fink reached a peak at "Es ist vollbracht".

Concerning myself, there are two special moments that I want to share with
you. First, the moment when you come into that legendary stage and you see
2.500 people in front of you....brrr!!!. Second, the moment when the last
chord finishes and the applause of those 2.500 people breaks!!!. Too much
for me....

After that, a good pasta and red wine with my friends in a "trattoria" near
the old Borges' house at Serrano Street....and there are some people who
don't believe in Paradise!!!
