 What a great topic of study! I look forward to reading your results. I have
the following quote from a panel that I gave on breastfeeding and early
childhood development:

In 1995, a study by Louise Acheson, MD was published in the Archives of
Family Medicine that found women who did not breastfeed their babies were 38
times more likely to have children who were abused ( and to have suffered
from battery or sexual abuse themselves) than women who nursed their babies.

I am not sure where I got that information, but I suspect it was from one of
the La Leche League fact sheets.
