Before someone regales us with the news that the next season of The
Sopranos will include a vicious hitman called Antonio Salieri, let's
give the poor guy some positive publicity.  There's a Naxos CD (8.554838)
containing twelve of his overtures, played with considerable panache by
the Slovak Radio Symphony, who must have more recording gigs than most
other orchestras anywhere.  If you like that period, you'll like this.
