FYI...I missed last night's show. Frontier Life continues tonight and
tomorrow night at 9 EST on PBS.

Greetings to all current and future Pioneers!

I don't normally send out a newsletter so soon after sending the last one,
but the situation is somewhat unique because of an item I forgot to mention
last time.

One of our slogans here is that we're like "any other general store... from
1890". Well, PBS producers apparently agreed with that assessment. If
you've longed for or wondered about life in the late 1800s, you won't want
to miss our feature article on the television premiere of "Frontier House"
on PBS this week. You'll learn all about pioneer life: how difficult it
was, how people lived, what they used to survive. And also that pioneering
was not always full of happiness and roses.

And might I add that you can read the article to find out which of the many
Lehman's non-electric products are showcased by the "Frontier House"
pioneers?

I haven't actually seen any 'sneak previews' of the program, although I'm
going to try to get a co-worker to tape a copy for me (since I don't have
TV). Even so, I hope that "Frontier House" will keep the dream of pioneer
living alive in you.

Until next time: Happy Trails!

Sincerely,

Michael Young

We don't normally plug TV programs -- our chief editor doesn't even have a
working TV -- but this is a unique case. "Frontier House" is a new PBS
program dedicated to exploring pioneer living that is part educational and
part entertainment. And, it features many Lehman's products.
