If baby's latch is good and perhaps well off-centered, pointing baby's chin
towards the plug will lead to a better emptying of that part of the breast
and thus help to unplug.
But if the plug is a result of sub-optimal latch and/or technique I think no
one paticular position will be better than any other.

I never heard of clockwise emptying of the sinusses.
