In my opinion, having lived and played "Schelomo" for my entire life the
performance to go for in spite of dated sonic's is Feuermann/Stokowski....
second choice would be the earlier Leonard Rose version with Mitropoulos
made while Mr.  Rose was still the principal 'cellist with the New York
Philharmonic.
