I really like "Quo Vadis"; I usually watch it every year around Easter.
I especially like his transformation of the "Hymn to Nemesis"--one of the
few bits of ancient Greco-Roman music to survive--into a Christian anthem.

Someone, I've often thought, should compile a "Fantasy on Themes from 'Quo
Vadis'" for organ; it would be a great success as a prelude for Easter
services; or even a choral "'Quo Vadis' Cantata"--again, it would be quite
popular at Easter.
