My copy of the latest JHL is in the car and as Charlie Brown's dog Snoopy
said "It's a dark and stormy night", so I'm not supplying exact
references. However, I am looking forward to "digesting" the rest of it
soon after "snacking" on it early this afternoon. I've so far found lots
of food for thought this issue.
In reply to P.D. Gordon, who writes:

copy of the ILCA conference presentation on cupfeeding from several years
back, but I'm looking for one on the how-to for nursing staff. >
I think you will find the article on research into the efficacy of cup
feeding quite revealing. Also see the one about a specific method for
effective use of a rubber nipple during transitioning to full direct
breastfeeding.
I also saw a title indicating there may be an article on our current
topic of reasons for early termination of breastfeeding as well.
