Thirty years ago, pregnant with my first child, I went to Dr. Bradley in
Denver, Colo. He reccomended two pediatricians. There office was next door
to his and they saw most of his patients in the hospital. Dr. Meier very
clearly told me that they only took breadfeeding mothers in there practice
and he suggested I go to LLL if I wanted to breastfeed. I did and the rest
is history - I became a LLLLeader and later an IBCLC. My interst in
breatfeeding was totally started by a Doctor who was really addament!! So
for me, that approach worked just fine!!
