Thanks to Ted Greiner on another list, here is information on a breast milk pasteurizer (no financial interest)

In case any of you are interested, here is a letter
from a company claiming to have a
low-cost Holden Pasteurizer. It is called ACE InterMed
Limited and its email address is

Please allow us to make this introduction.

We are looking for assistance, guidance.

As a supplier of Pasteurisers to UK NHS Trusts,
MATERNITY UNITS, Milk
Banks, we have developed a 'single bottle unit' which
we believe could
be a breakthrough in HIV transmission and other
infectious virus from
mother to baby, additionally giving natural
development opportunities to
infants through breastmilk, rather than formula.

We have developed a unit which is totally portable,
requires no power
source (ie electricity / battery) and is very cost
effective.

The opportunity for these units to be used world-wide
we believe must be
encouraged. We at this stage are looking to advise
like-minded (ie
babyfriendly) organisations, companies, charities of
this unit and its
benefits with a view to marketing it as the
replacement for formula
milks, which can exacerbate infant illness in certain
crisis areas
around the world.

WE WOULD BE PLEASED TO RECEIVE YOUR FEEDBACK
