Exactly; that is why B.  is still listened to and loved by many people,
while other composers, as well or better known than B.  himself in his
own time, are largely forgotten by all but classical music mavens.  (E.g.,
Gluck, Hummel, Spohr, et al.--fine composers all, but hardly as central to
the repertoire as B.  [except, in the case of Hummel, to
beginning/intermediate piano students]).
