What a great idea. The nearest I came to something like this was
10a.m.-4.30.p.m.. at a Church in Folkestone;pay 5.00.take sandwiches (free
tea and coffee) and have a day singing Beatus Vir, (we ended the day doing
this for our chauffeuse/s with double violin and piano acc.)Haydn Te Deum
and a few other things. Sight reading for most of us-from all over Kent.
My idea of fun.

When we lived in Kent, I had an assortment of instrumental friends, who
used to come round at half -term, and once ended up with half a dozen, from
young clarinettist to near Professional oboeist. At the end of the day one
young lady looked at me and said- "Idon't know how you do it!" "Enthusiasm"
I said. Guess who was the only accompanist?
